North Charleston reels in more Shimano business

Shimano Inc., a Japanese manufacturer of products for bicycle, rowing and fishing industries, plans to expand its South Carolina footprint.

The Osaka-based company established operations in Charleston County in 2002 with the opening of a distribution center, which it expanded in 2012. Shimano has now added a 22,000-square-foot office building to existing operations at 9560 Palmetto Commerce Parkway in Ladson.

Shimano America President Dave Pfeiffer has shared his vision for Shimano’s American growth in S.C. which will allow them to become personally and professionally closer to, and more deeply connected to, the largest fishing markets in the country.

CBI Charleston is proud to partner with Shimano and their team to create a fun, collaborative workplace to help attract talent and support their growth.
