The Vision Awards is an annual event that honors, recognizes, and celebrates the contributions of individuals, businesses and organizations that have made the Center City a more livable, unique, and memorable place. CBI’s SVP, GM & Market Leader, John Sell, presented as the keynote speaker at the event and spoke to attendees about the ever-evolving workplace emphasizing how flexibility, collaboration and ways of working are becoming more and more intentional.
“It was an honor to attend and present the keynote speech at the 2022 Vision Awards,” says John. “It was a wonderful event that recognized many great individuals and organizations.”
The 2022 Vision Award recipient was Darrel Williams, FAIA, founding partner and owner of Neighboring Concepts. The program also honored ACSM, Inc., the Center City YMCAs, JazzArts Charlotte, Crescent Stonewall Station, and the Small Business Innovation Fund.
“It is wonderful to be a part of such an outstanding organization like the Charlotte City Center,” said John. “The city of Charlotte is growing fast, and we know organizations are challenged with creating environments that attract and retain talented people.
At CBI, we focus on early engagement and strategy from the start, because what we needed five years ago, even two years ago, is not what we need today. We partner with our clients to identify their workplace objectives and introduce data-driven tools, research and best practices to help them envision workplaces that better reflect who they are today and where they will be in the future.”
